Daniel S. Holford, LMFT
Daniel Holford has been a licensed marriage and family therapist since 1986. He is also a licensed minister. He is a grdaute of Pepperdine University Graduate School of Psychology and Vanguard University of Southern California. He has taught at National University Fresno, University of LaVerne and at numerous educational and church community seminars. He has consulted with numerous churches on church based recovery ministries, having launched one that has been in operation for over 20 years. He provides marital and relationship therapy, works with victime of abuse, depression and anxiety, and family issues. He began the counseling center in July of 1993.
Donald K. "Kirk" Weintz, L.M.F.T. / L.P.C.C.
Donald Kirk Weintz is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). He has twenty-five years of experience in the field of social work and psychotherapy serving multiple ages, socioeconomic and culturally diverse clients. He has a Master's Degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from National University. He has coached basketball at the College of Sequoias, Sterling College and Colorado Christian University, and has provided an assortment of seminars and trainings for professionals, foster care families, residential care facility staff, and clients within the community. His expertise lies in the areas of dual diagnosis, trauma, sexually addictive behaviors (e.g., sexual offending, pornography, affairs, etc...), men's issues, sexual identity issues, intimacy issues, marital therapy and eating disorders. He has worked with victims of crime and abuse with children, adolescents and adults. Mr. Weintz is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) theory for complex trauma and in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) – DBTNCAA. He has extensive training and experience in conducting Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples. He is a CAMFT Certified Supervision for LMFTs and LCSW's and currently provides supervision for MFT interns and trainees from numerous California Universities. He continues advanced professional development in the areas of Marital Therapy, Trauma and Eating Disorders.
Kathleen E. Mittman, LMFT
Kathie Mittman is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been with TMG since 2003. She is a graduate of Fresno State University and the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary. She has conducted classes about marriage issues at her church. She provides marital and relationship therapy, works with adults and children who are victims of abuse, depression, anxiety and family issues. She provides pychotherapy at the counseling center in Visalia and in Porterville.
Timothy Hochhalter, LMFT
Tim Hochhalter is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been with TMG since 2005. Tim has worked with youth and families for more than 20 years, the first 17 of which were spent serving as a youth and family pastor - both in Minnesota and then in Southern California. Tim obtained his Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2003 from Azusa Pacific University and moved to the Central Valley the same year. Tim provides individual, marital and family therapy and specializes in treating mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder) and developmentally based issues.
Nikki Rodriguez, LMFT
Nikki Rodriguez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been wsith TMG since 2010. She has a Master's degree in Counseling from Fresno State University. Her areas of expertise include working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. She has a wide range of clinical experience treating individuals of differing cultures, socioeconomic status, and backgrounds. Nikki specializes in treating mood disorders including anxiety and depression, trauma, co-occurring disorders and addictive behaviors. In addition to her work at Trinity, Nikki has also worked with the Visalia Rescue Mission's residential drug rehabilitation program to provide individual and group therapy. She is experienced in utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in facilitating group therapy and plans to become certified.
Carin Barnes, LMFT
Carin Barnes is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has been with Trinity Ministries Group since June 2012. She earned a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage, Family, Child Counseling in 2013. Prior to beginning an internship at Trinity Ministries Carin worked as a trainee therapist at College of the Sequoias and Visalia Youth Services. She has also worked for CASA of Tulare County as both a volunteer child advocate and case manager.
In addition to working as a therapist, Carin is an Adjunct Professor at Fresno Pacific University, teaching Masters' level courses in Human Development and Mentoring in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program. Carin provides individual, marital and family therapy.
Richard Wendt, LMFT
Richard L. Wendt is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been with TMG since September 2012. He earned a Masters of Arts in Marriage, Family, Child Counseling and a Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in New Testament Theology from Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. Richard has 17 years combined experience in Law Enforcement, firefighting, and EMS as a Paramedic. He has 20 years' experience in ministry working as pastor, chaplain, and pastoral counselor. Before coming to TMG he worked as a therapist at the College of the Sequoias and at Visalia Youth Services. Richard works with adolescents, children, individuals, and couples. His Masters work in traumatic stress has led him to specialize in Trauma and PTSD in both adults and children as well as post graduate study in neurophysiology. He is also working towards specialization in couple's therapy and working with children/adolescents with mood and behavioral problems. He teaches parenting classes and has taught marriage clinics at churches.
Christi Rooney [Conley], MFT Intern
Christi Rooney is a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern. She has been with Trinity Ministries Group since May 2014. She earned a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. Prior to beginning an internship at Trinity Ministries she also worked as a trainee therapist at Visalia Youth Services.
Christi has worked with the Visalia Rescue Mission's residential drug rehabilitation program to provide individual and group therapy. Her areas of expertise include working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. Areas of interest include addictive behaviors, anxiety, trauma, depression and couples therapy.
Kate Jones, MFT Intern
Kate Jones is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego Christian College in 2007 and her Masters Degree In Marriage and Family Therapy from Fresno State University in 2015. Kate has been working in the mental health field the past nine years. Her time has been spent working with at risk children in elementary schools and adolescents in behavioral health facilities. Kate also has three years’ experience working with Tulare County Mental Health. Her time there has given her experience working with clients with severe mental health challenges including mood disorders and co-occurring disorders.
Roxanne Sanford, MFT Intern
Rosanne Sanford is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Fresno Pacific University in 2013. Roxanne has been working with Sanger Unified as a trainee therapist at an Elementary, Jr. High, and a High School continuation school. Roxanne has been working for a non-profit contracted by the county, doing supervised visits and help with parent coaching.
Prior to beginning an internship at Trinity Ministries, Roxanne worked with Clovis Unified's Autism Program for two years. Roxanne provides therapy for individuals, families, children and adolescents.
